General Description

Designed in a classical tunisian style, the sofitel palm beach tozeur is set in lush gardens overlooking the town's wonderful palm groves at the gateway to the desert, just 2 kilometres from tozeur airport. This two floor property features 128 air-conditioned guestrooms distributed amongst abundant buildings linked to a centremost area. Guestrooms attribute private balconies and are decorated in a palette of terracotta tones incorporating traditional tunisian design with marble arches, woven carpets and wicker furnishings. All acquire bathrooms, hairdryers, satellite tv, radios, safes, telephones and minibars. Guests can enjoy lazy days by the large freshwater pool, flanked by palm trees with sun beds and parasols; there are also inflatable air mattresses for those who wish to sunbathe in the pool. Beside the pool fountain, a glass- fronted conservatory leads to the indoor heated pool and health club, which has a gym, turkish bath, sauna and spa tub. Massage and spa treatments are also available. Guests can dine al fresco by the poolside for a lunchtime barbeque, and buffet dishes from the main restaurant can also be enjoyed outdoors. A la carte cuisine and a large wine menu can be sampled at the hotel's third restaurant.
